Meditation

“Meditation refers to any of a family of practices in which the practitioner trains his or her mind or self-induces a mode of consciousness in order to realize some benefit”. [1][2][3] (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

There is growing evidence that meditation is highly effective in reducing physical and emotional stress. Meditation is a simple method of calming your mind and body, while enhancing mental focus, mental clarity and your ability to cope with stress.

Meditation can involve finding a quiet place to relax and clearing thoughts, visualising peaceful surroundings, or focusing your attention on a particular object. Like exercise, meditation should be practiced regularly to achieve maximum benefits.
